Diary of a Palm Reader
by Myrna Lou Goldbaum
|
I was the Steno for a Public Works Department and my desk was across the hall from the Conference Room. The Mayor stopped desk prior to a meeting and asked me to read her palm. I told her she had twins and she nodded. "What do you pick up about their early childhood?" she asked quietly "There was a near tragedy in their fourth year when you and your husband were out of town on a business trip. An older woman, a nanny was hired to stay in your home with them. I believe your twins were kidnapped. The sitter bound and gagged on the living room floor. This occurred on the first day you were away," I recounted. "Oh my, that's exactly what happened!" replied the Mayor.
